Throughout 2018, the pressure imposed by the likes of Huawei and Xiaomi saw Samsung’s shipment numbers decline considerably. Because of this, the South Korean giant is preparing a pretty big overhaul for its budget lineup. And today one of the new devices has been details.

As revealed by the folks over at AllAboutSamsung, the upcoming Galaxy M30 will arrive complete with a large 6.38-inch Infinity-U display that boasts a resolution 2220 x1080 pixels (FHD+). Essentially, this means that, just like its cheaper siblings, the new device will feature thin side bezels, a small chin, and a waterdrop-like notch. Speaking of which, this will be home to a single 16-megapixel selfie snapper.

While on the topic of cameras, the rear of this smartphone is set to be adorned by three sensors. According to the info, the primary one will boast a 13-megapixel resolution while the remaining two will be 5-megapixel sensors. Unfortunately, the details of each camera remain unconfirmed at the moment.

Completing this smartphone’s setup is said to be a 5,000mAh battery and probably Android 8.1 Oreo. At the moment, the processor included unknown. However, have hinted towards the presence of 4GB of RAM and either 64GB or 128GB of storage.

The Galaxy M30 is expected to go official sometime this month alongside the Galaxy M10 and Galaxy M20 ahead of sales in late January or early February. Unfortunately, there is no word on pricing.
