BLU Vivo Go launches with Android Pie
« on: December 14, 2018, 12:26:24 AM »

Over a month after the smartphone’s details first leaked, today BLU Products has finally announced the Vivo Go as its first Android Go edition smartphone that can be acquired starting today via Amazon.

Obviously, considering price, the smartphone is nothing to be excited about but it is still relatively decent. It comes equipped with a large 6-inch display that features a 720p resolution and an 18:9 aspect ratio. This is combined with an aluminum construction, a rear-facing fingerprint scanner, and a dual-camera setup that features a main 8-megapixel sensor and a secondary VGA (0.3-megapixel) camera.

In regards to the internals, the BLU Vivo Go is powered by a 1.5GHz quad-core MediaTek 6739 processor that is coupled with 1GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. Thankfully, if this isn’t enough, microSD cards of up to 64GB are supported. On a related note, the smartphone runs Android 9 Pie Go Edition straight out of the box and keeping the lights on is a pretty small 2,600mAh battery.

If you’re interested in this device and are quick enough, the BLU Vivo Go will arrive before Christmas. From the looks of things, though, there is only a limited amount of stock available. The smartphone is compatible with both AT&T and T-Mobile’s 4G LTE networks and comes in just one color: Black.
