Skype launches screen sharing on Android
« on: June 05, 2019, 06:34:53 AM »

Microsoft has finally made the Skype screen sharing feature available to mobile users after teasing it about two months ago. Starting today, Android and iOS users will be able to take advantage of the new improvements that Skype has just introduced.

Sharing your screen during a Skype call is quite simple: tap the new ď...Ē menu, and choose the option to start sharing your smartphone's screen. This new menu includes some other features as well, including call recording and subtitles.

Besides adding screen sharing, Skype's latest update brings a set of quality of life improvements, including a mobile calling redesign, which is meant to streamline and simplify the video call. Thanks to the new changes, Skype users will now be able to dismiss the call controls with a single tap and start a new video call. Also, a double tap removes all controls on the screen, not just the call controls, so that you can experience the video calls without any obstructions.

We've already told you about the new ď...Ē menu that allows Skype users to access a useful set of features such as screen sharing, call recording, and subtitles.

According to Microsoft, the new update that brings all the new features and improvements to Skype is now available on both the Android and iOS platforms via Google Play Store and App Store.
