Nubia's new dual-screen Z20 smartphone coming soon
« on: August 09, 2019, 06:33:41 AM »

After bringing its powerful gaming smartphone to the US not long ago, Chinese company Nubia revealed a brand new device that will be introduced in China on August 16, the Z20. This is the second Nubia smartphone that features the company's dual-screen technology after the Nubia X was unveiled early this year at CES 2019.

Although Nubia Z20 will initially be launched in China, the smartphone will be released globally (USA, Canada, UK, and Europe) in September. Unfortunately, Nubia didn't say anything about pricing yet, but we can safely assume it will be much cheaper than other flagship smartphones launched in the US this year.

Nubia Z20 boasts a bezel-less 6.42-inch full HD+ display, and a smaller, fully-functional 5.1-inch rear display. What's interesting is that you'll be able to set these screens to operate independently, so that you can switch between games, messages, apps, and more.

Hardware-wise, the Z20 is quite powerful thanks to the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Plus processor, paired with 8GB RAM and 512GB internal memory. Also, the smartphone is equipped with a 4,000 mAh battery with up to 27W fast charging.

Another selling point of the Z20 is the triple camera on the back, which features a 48-megapixel main camera with OIS, a 16-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera, and an 8-megapixel telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom.

Furthermore, the Z20's camera offers 1920fps super slow motion and HDR10 10bit video recording, along with an advanced Pro Mode and upgraded Super Night Mode.

Nubia Z20 will be sold in the US through the company's online store, but stay tuned for more details about pricing and availability.
