With the Galaxy Fold already released in South Korea, Samsung is making sure that early adopters benefit from a seamless user experience while using the foldable smartphone. In that regard, Samsung announced it has teamed up with Google and Android developers to provide a seamless foldable experience on Galaxy Fold.

Since Samsung revealed the Infinity Flex Display last year, the South Korean company and Google set up test labs to work with partners and developers to test and verify that their apps and services are optimized for the Galaxy Fold and the Android platform.

On top of that, Google added changes in Android 10 that offer improved resizable activity, multi-resume functionality, and an updated Android Emulator, which are meant to help support multiple display type switching.

According to Samsung, hundreds of app have been optimized for the Galaxy Fold, including services from companies like Amazon Prime Video, App in the Air, Facebook, iHeartMedia, Microsoft, Spotify, Twitter, VSCO and more.

Thanks to the new App Continuity and Multi-Active Window features, Galaxy Fold users will be able to browse, watch, connect and multitask effortlessly. The foldable smartphone lets you switch from the cover display to the main display and run multiple apps simultaneously.

All the optimized apps and service, along with others, have been released and are now available in the Android ecosystem for the Galaxy Fold in the Google Play Store and Galaxy Store.
