Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+ by tmobile rollout with Night Mode
« on: October 11, 2019, 11:58:28 AM »

It appears that the wait is finally over for T-Mobile Galaxy S9 and S9+ owners, as the Un-carrier has started to roll out the long-overdue Night Mode. Verizon was probably the first US carrier to include this feature in an update back in August, so it looks like T-Mobile been delaying the release of Night Mode for quite some time.

T-Mobile starts rolling out Night Mode for Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+
With the new Night Mode, the Galaxy S9/S9+ camera should take decent pictures in low light conditions. The previous camera software analyzed the ambient conditions and automatically selected the Night Mode, but Samsung decided to add a manual switch for this specific feature and further improve it.

The dedicated Night Mode can be found in the camera UI swiping across through the different options. According to Reddit user ictRider, the update brings along the September security patch, but these seem to be the only changes that we've been able to confirm.

T-Mobile is likely to roll out the update in waves, so it might take a few days to arrive on all Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+ units out there. It's also worth mentioning that the update weighs in at 770MB, so make sure you have enough free storage left on your phone.
